A few weeks ago I started my 1st knife. Today I fi A few weeks ago I started my 1st knife. Today I finally finished the handle. I will call that complete for now. Next would be a sheath, but I'm not jumping in to that yet. I'll soon be finishing my 2nd knife as well.
Started a new hobby today (or at least trying) #kn Started a new hobby today (or at least trying) #knifemaking . I am bout 4 hours in on this one. 1075 steel. Had the blanks cut on the band saw, then made a jig to do the  hand filing.  Still a little more shaping and sanding work to do before it goes in the forge. But, I am happy with the results so far for my 1st knife.
